Touch Screen Test

Make every touch visible. Check your screen, find missed spots, and see how it responds.

THE QUICK START

A little touch. A lot of insight.

  1. 01

    Start with a clean screen

Wipe your display, then start the test. A finger, mouse, or pen all work.

  2. 02

    Touch. Swipe. Explore.

Trace across the grid, add more fingers, or leave the screen alone for a ghost-touch check.

  3. 03

    See the whole picture

Finish to review coverage and input readings. Recheck any untouched areas before drawing conclusions.

GOOD TO KNOW

A few things
to know.

Quick answers. Clear expectations.

How do I test my touch screen?

Start the test and slowly move your finger over the whole grid. Each recorded touch lights up a cell. Try several fingers at once, or use the dedicated multi-touch, ghost-touch, and dead-zone tests.

Does an untouched cell mean my screen is broken?

No. It means this page has not received an input in that cell. Swipe over it again slowly. Browser controls, screen protectors, and device settings can affect the result. This is a screening tool, not a hardware diagnosis.

What do the response and pressure readings mean?

Event rate is the frequency of input events received by the browser. The delay estimate measures event delivery, not end-to-end display latency. Pressure and contact radius appear only when your device provides usable data; otherwise they show n/a.

Does this work on iPhone, Android, and desktop?

Yes, in modern browsers with Pointer Events. Use fingers on touch screens or a mouse or pen on desktop. Fullscreen uses the browser API when available and a viewport-filling overlay otherwise. Browser and operating-system gestures may still reserve screen edges.

Is my touch data uploaded?

No. The test runs in your browser. Touch positions and results stay on this page and are cleared when you reset or reload it. There is no account, analytics, or server-side processing.
